V. Decaux (La Poste): "Crossing data would make it possible to coincide the needs of the company with employee projects" - Decideurs magazine
Decision -makers.Can you explain to us the advantage of having created a digital prize dedicated to the HR function?
Valérie Decaux. This prize was created by the National Association of HRDs (Andrh), because the HR function is a key player in the digital transformation of companies. One would wrongly believe that digital only concerns IT service and engineers. But this award takes on its full meaning, since digital issues combine perfectly with human resources missions, which consist in simplifying the life of employees and modernizing the organization of the company by showing innovation.
The digital dimension is omnipresent in HR tasks, both through the administrative management that is digitized, as well as on the subject of the training offer offered to employees. The digital question based on the shoulders of human resources, actually answers a societal role. That of allowing employees to be comfortable with digital at work of course, but also in their daily lives.Today, illectronism is a brake in everyone's life and an obstacle to integration into the world of work. There is therefore no longer any doubt, the HR function and digital are two completely nested areas.
What do you think are the major digital challenges to come for the HR function?
Data and artificial intelligence are the important subjects of tomorrow.Human resources manage an impressive amount of data. They can concern both past professional experiences, and the future desires of employees.
The challenge is to imagine being able to work this data with AI engines to have the ability to get the most out of it.By crossing the data, we could make the company's needs coincide with the projects and the wishes of the employees. If one of them wants to move, this is information that can be useful to the company if it wants to develop in the regions for example. These innovations would allow HR to be more strength as a proposal for employees and their prospects for professional development, while responding to business transformation challenges.
What will change the electronic billing law planned for January 2023 for human resources?
As it stands, this law will not change anything for human resources, because we do not manage the accounting or financial aspect of companies.
On the other hand, if these tasks do not concern us directly, the systematic dematerialization of invoices will require the accountants to be put together, since the merger of invoices, classic, will be automatically.HR will therefore have to consider new profiles during recruitment for these positions and bring value by selecting people who will assume higher accounting missions."Upskilling" [the rise in skills by training, Editor's note] is absolutely necessary for the development of the overall and digital skills of employees. It is this type of initiative that allows you to take a business and the whole social body towards future progress.
On what digital missions do you work at the HRD of the La Poste group?
We took advantage of the health crisis to accelerate in our digital issues and in particular in the development of our own tools.La Poste is one of the first companies in France to have an HR chatbot that answers employees' questions. This platform available for employees helps our managers and our HR teams in chronophagous administrative tasks.Human resources have more time to advise employees on important subjects.
The project that currently deals with us concerns training. We have the desire to train 100 % of our digital postal workers within 5 years thanks to the "CAP Competence Numerique" program. This route is organized around online modules that meet the needs and the role of each employees. The program includes the possibility for employees who must progress on digital essentials, to obtain a national digital certificate, Cléa, recognized at the RNCP (National Directory of Professional Certifications).
Finally, La Poste wished to support the dynamics launched by the government by participating in the system of digital advisers France services carried by Cédric O.We will deploy a hundred digital advisers for two years, in post offices from the city's priority neighborhoods or in rural areas, in order to fight against daily illecronism.Digital is an issue for businesses and therefore a social issue.
