Summer holidays 2021: Which digital workshop to choose (coding, robotics, video, etc.)?
What to do during the summer holidays? How about a digital workshop? That's good, many activities are planned all over France for your holidays in person or remotely.
Programming, robotics, electronics, Artificial Intelligence… The offer is more and more abundant and more and more possible remotely, due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
In Paris and the Paris region
1. Evolukid introduces teenagers to programming but also to electronics and robotics through thematic courses in Nanterre and Courbevoie, Boulogne, Meaux and Paris. Note that Rabah from Evolukid has already presented several robots to us on Geek Junior and tutorials on our magazine. During the two weeks of spring break, online Scratch courses (for the youngest), application creation and Python learning (for teens) are planned.
2. Tech Kids Academy has been a recognized player for several years in Paris and Saint-Germain-en-Laye. For the holidays, several courses are scheduled from 7 years old (Python course, Stency mobile, Lego WeDo robotics, Scratch, robotics +IA). Some internships will be switched to virtual classes.
3. Magic Makers is present in many places in Paris and in the suburbs. Children and teenagers aged 7 to 18 learn computer concepts and design their own project. The 5 half-day courses are very varied, from website creation to Minecraft programming, from Lego piloting to 3D video game design. You can enjoy it remotely or face-to-face but in complete safety!
4. TeenLabs is aimed at teenagers aged 12 to 20. Face-to-face in Paris or online, the catalog offers activities around programming (learning to code in Python, gaming designs, or programming your website in HTML) but also other very useful sessions to think about your orientation or to talk in public in English.
5. Digi Activity offers several workshops in the 7th and 17th arrondissements. The offer is increasingly rich and original and is only aimed at teenagers. For the spring holidays, several workshops are planned on digital drawing, 3D animation, video or MAO music.
6. After ten years spent in the United States and Canada with their three children, where they were able to observe the development of new digital pedagogies, Yasmine and Maxime decided to return to France to create MoonKeys. The themes of the workshops during the holidays are original: digital reporter, junior startup, storytelling, coding generation... Available in video or in person.
7. Les Ingéniaux offer creative technology workshops in Paris, for children, young people and adults. With a Maker spirit, several are planned during the holidays with original themes, some of which can be realized with your parents!
8. In Cormeilles-en-Parisis (Val d'Oise), Nathalie Lafargue's Ateliers Geeks offers very original workshops from April 19 to 23 with the circus as the central theme!
9. Code Code Codec offers holiday e-courses. On the program, 3D modeling and printing, assembly of connected objects, introduction to programming and algorithms, awareness of the computer environment, playful logic activities.
10. Croco Go Digital offers an interesting offer to discover the code or program robots in several cities, including Paris.
11. Cood offers a digital education platform with in particular Cood Studio which allows you to create your own video games from a solution that offers wider programming possibilities than Scratch while remaining very accessible. To get an overview, you can discover for free “Once upon a time the Code“.
12. In the 20th arrondissement of Paris in leisure centers, schools or at the parent company: Colori offers to introduce the youngest to technology, code and logic without a screen!
