Livebox and Open Pack: What changes for Orange subscribers?
Orange has changed several rates and services from its offers lately.Among its internet + mobile offers, Orange offers open packs as quadruple play offers combining mobile package and fiber or ADSL Internet connection.
Subscribers to an open/open up 80GB pack have seen their 80GB data envelope go to 130GB.This data increase is not accompanied by any increase in prices or re -engagement with the operator.A fairly rare surprise in the world of telecoms which foreshadows upcoming changes in Orange offers for the start of the school year.
In all cases, the 80GB orange package at € 44.99/month (€ 34.99/month in open offer) and its variation in the Orange Open Up pack at € 81.99/month is now a 130GB packageMobile data. This increase in mobile internet concerns of course the use in mainland France but also allows subscribers to this 80GB package to use these 100GB of roaming data in Europe, Switzerland and Andorra.
Another novelty in Orange offers also concerns ADSL subscribers who would like to go to a fiber offer. As the operator indicates under the conditions of the offer, "the transition to fiber requires the rental of a compatible livebox (Livebox 2, Livebox Play, Livebox 4 and Livebox 5)".Orange customers who already have a Livebox 2 (white color) will have to pay a price increase of € 3/month.
Orange and Sosh: the big stir of offers in 2021
These last changes on Orange offers are not the first of this year, Orange having already made adjustments to other packages and Open Pack.
On March 5, the operator has revised the mobile data and the price of its 10GB mobile package. An increase of 30GB of data in parallel with an increase in the rate of € 2/month.This increase has also been reflected in all offers including this package: Open/4G Home, Open Pack and Open Up 40GB Pack.
It was then the 2H 5GB package which undergoes a joint price increase and the mobile data envelope. This time, for 15GB of Data in addition, this orange package increases its price by € 2/month and went to € 18.99/month (also increase for the Open/4G Home pack and Open Up pack).
Dans les deux cas, les clients Orange ont cependant eu la possibilité de refuser cette augmentation pendant 1 mois (comme le prévoit la loi) en passant par l'application Orange&Moi ou depuis leur espace client.
These series of changes on offers also occur with Sosh, the Low-Cost brand of Orange. The old Sosh+Livebox packages that allowed the Livebox-Zen and a SOSH package to be combined for almost a year.Former beneficiaries of these offers are gradually migrating to a 100% SOSH offer with equivalent package and Fiber or ADSL Internet offer via the SOSH box.
