Is one of your connections seriously bothering you on Snapchat? Don't be intimidated and put her out for good! The Californian application only allowing exchanges between “friends” by default, all you have to do is delete a contact from your address book so that this person can no longer communicate with you at all.
Our social relationships are constantly changing and that's normal. If it's in the order of things to see relationships end, you don't usually cut off all contact with your old friends on the networks. However, in certain situations, it is preferable that the links also break in virtual spaces.
In addition, on the Internet, people tend to be less respectful and more aggressive towards others than in “real” life. The feeling of security and impunity conferred by being behind a screen to communicate tends to lead to more inappropriate behavior. So, whether it's to protect yourself from malicious behavior, inappropriate comments or simply to avoid always being in contact with people who no longer interest you, it's a good idea to know how to manage your contacts and messages on Snapchat , and in particular to learn how to delete an account on the application.
Delete a contact on Snapchat
1. Start by opening Snapchat on your mobile device by tapping on the white ghost logo on a yellow background. Then head to the page that displays your Snapchat contacts by swiping the screen to the right.
2. Select the account you want to remove from your friends list by tapping on it and holding for a moment.
3. You will see a window appear at the bottom of your screen. From here you can manage the different options related to the selected contact. Now tap on “More”.
4. Then choose the mention “Delete this friend” which appears in red among the different possibilities.
5. A dialog box opens. To permanently remove this contact from your Snapchat directory, tap "Delete".
This contact is now deleted! He is no longer on your friends list, can no longer see your private posts, or send you messages via chat, or Snaps, unless you have changed Snapchat's default settings and allowed all users to view your Stories and contact you.
If you have experienced or witnessed the dissemination of hateful, violent, or inappropriate content, you can alert Snapchat by reporting the account that is at the origin of these facts. The path to access this operation is exactly the same as before, you just have to choose "Report" instead of "Delete this friend", then follow the instructions. Of course, Snapchat users are, like everyone else, subject to the law. Also, you can absolutely contact the authorities if you are experiencing any form of cyber-harassment.
