When it comes to connected homes, for most uses, as an expert in the field with my years of practice in different home automation systems. I recommend transparent home automation. This transparent home automation is the perfect image of the smart connected home. Indeed, my vision of home automation is above all comfort. This comfort is achieved through ingenious and intelligent automation, elaborate scenarios that anticipate your needs and act on your behalf. 
Yes, but here it is, if this discourse is valid for a large part of the connected home, and I encourage you to go in this direction in order to have the best home automation experience possible... However, some uses still require, although automate, manual action possible. It is a question of comfort and practicality above all. When your child asks you if you can change the intensity of the light in the living room, forcing you to take your smartphone out of your pocket to act from an application, or if you want to take a look at the camera images or even check the temperature of the swimming pool, you will also need to take out your smartphone. This is where the tablet comes in. Its goal is to meet all these needs and further improve your connected home experience.
For once, I had not planned to do a tutorial on this use, but many of you have asked me about the networks following the publication of the photo of the tablet. In order to answer everyone, I will explain how I proceeded, what I used and why I made these choices.
In the field of the wall screen, there are many possible methods, here, the assembly meets my need, it may not be yours, but you may find interesting information there to develop your own system.
The need
If my house has many scenarios that allow me to forget the presence of home automation and not take out my smartphone or ask Google each time the triggering of each automation. There are still actions that require manual control. For me, the screen must be able to be used for:
Switch on/off and set the lighting mood of the living room. With nearly a dozen light points made up of fibaro modules, led strips or even Philips Ligntstrip... The intensity and colors are already defined in scenarios, the tablet is only used to call up the desired scenario.
View exterior cameras. Several cameras make up my installation, I also want to be able to view them simply and quickly without having to open a dedicated application.
Visualize the main temperatures of the house: Living room, exterior, swimming pool, local swimming pool or even garage.
View my electricity consumption.
To be able to operate my roller shutters and motorized shutters centrally or by zone.
To be able to operate my garage doors or my gate without having to use the remote controls or open the home automation application.
But also:
stream music to the home multiroom via Spotify
select a Netflix movie or series to watch on one of the TVs in the house
Select and stream a movie or series to watch on a home TV from the Plex server.
Or:
Can be used to follow a recipe on the kitchen counter
being able to watch a series or a TV program on the kitchen worktop while the children watch another program on the main TV.
The choice of tablet
On this point do as you see fit, several options are possible, ipad, Android tablet or even kindle fire... As a general rule, you will use an old tablet for this purpose if you have one sleeping in a drawer, otherwise you don't have a tablet handy, here are some tablets.

Several interesting solutions, but nothing in phase with my real need. I want something practical, fast and quite discreet.
My choice was therefore oriented towards a support absolutely not made for! But that I use daily in my car and that is really very practical to use. I use the mount below in my car, my wife also in her car and we love the simplicity and efficiency.

OK, I grant you, the latter is not more made for the home, it is also intended for the car, it is all the same interesting since it offers a larger magnetic surface and if you look at the exploded view, it has mounting holes. It turns out in the end that the holes are intended to hold the two parts together, however, it is removable and the base can still be firmly attached to the placo!
And because I also want to be able to use the tablet on the kitchen counter, I also need to be able to just put it in front of me to follow a recipe or just watch a program.
I then made the choice of a small solid support, stable and very practical for this use.

The choice of cable
While the stock cord might do the trick, you might not have an outlet nearby to dub on. In this case, the original cords being relatively short, you will have to opt for a longer length. Also, for a practical and aesthetic question, in my case I opted for a 1.80m angled cord so as not to see the wire sticking out too much. Angle to the left or angle to the right, no problem everything is possible.

On this point, several discourses are opposed. By experience and after having documented myself a little on the subject, it must be understood that the batteries of today are no longer the batteries of yesterday. Remember the batteries of laptops that were constantly plugged into the office, losing their autonomy or losing performance if we did not respect the charging cycles.
Today's Lithium-ion batteries are much less capricious, they no longer have this memory story. Without going any further in detail, because this is not the subject of the article, know that if you use the original charger of your tablet to power it, it is the latter which will take care to regulate the power supply so as not to damage the battery.
Indeed, the chargers of now have a charge detection, to put it simply, when the battery is fully charged and the charger is still plugged in, the power delivered by the charger will be used to keep the tablet powered rather than continue to charge the battery.
To put it simply, no generic charger, no integrated Legrand or other sockets, but prefer the original charger integrated why not in a sock box to be discreet in the wall!

To decide on this point, I studied 3 solutions.

Eedomus plane mode
If solution 1 is of quality, Imperihome now offers a monthly subscription to benefit from the complete solution. Unless you have purchased the pro version in the past, you have no choice but to go through a monthly subscription. Too bad, but I did not adopt this solution.
Solution 2 is powerful, it is possible to do very advanced things with this Jeedom mode, but you have to spend a lot of time on it and I don't want to spend a lot of time on it. So exit the Jeedom solution.
I still have the plan mode of the Eedomus box. A feature for a long time requested by users of the box in its infancy, but which I believe is not used much in the end. However, it's a shame, because it's an excellent solution and which, for once, can be put into practice in just a few clicks! To tell you the truth, the design that is currently on my tablet is very functional and I put it into production in barely 10 minutes!
Hyper stable, the mode is fully automatable and of exemplary stability and above all, it is not confined to controlling only Eedomus peripherals! Indeed, I use this app to operate Eedomus devices as well as Philips Hue or Jeedom! So it's a perfect solution for my need.

The choice of tablet activation
Many of you have asked me how I activate the tablet. It is probably possible to activate it by presence detection in front of the tablet via the front camera, however I made a simple choice which is simply to wake up the tablet using its home button. Indeed, if the detection is practical, the tablet is positioned in an area of frequent passage. Little interest therefore to see it go off at all costs. A simple press of the button and it displays the Eedomus plan mode in standby for quick action.
to summarize
Simple, fast and effective ! This is precisely what we ask of home automation, it is also exactly what the tablet on the wall allows to control everything. And with such a discreet and practical hanging system, I can also use it for other purposes. Optimization and efficiency, here is a home automation station that meets all the criteria! Ah, I forgot, in addition with such a system, the connected home is simple and usable by the lady and the children, enough to earn points for any connected Black Friday purchases 🙂
