Battlefield 2042: bots so smart you won't see the difference with humans
The shooting simulation game, Battlefield 2042 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of this end of the year. And that, DICE knows it and adopts a policy of complete transparency, the players will know what they will be dealing with when they take keyboard or controller in hand to test BF.
And it is with this in mind that the studio, and more particularly its Design Director at Ripple Effect Studios, Justin Wieble, confirms during an interview with our colleagues from VG47, that bots will be pampered in Development.
Although we have known for several weeks that the presence of bots will be unavoidable in the games, the design director reassures the fans: particular care has been taken in creating the AI of his famous "false players" and he challenges humans to recognize them by eye based on their movements, strategies or levels of play.
These will therefore be bots in “ultra-motivated warriors” mode that we will find in our various lobbies and in private areas. We remind you that you will be able to test the veracity of the studio's statements from October 22 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox X / S and on PC.
